The Committee is pleased to welcome its newly elected members, Dr Joseph Rylands and Dr Sam Whelan, Dr Ayesha Razvi and Dr Manvi Tyagi have been co-opted onto the Committee until 31 March 2024.
A number of Members had decided not to stand for re-election; Dr Ayo Adebanjo, Dr Martin Binder, Dr Ed Gaynor and Dr James Graham.
At its meeting on 1 March 2022, the Committee expressed its grateful thanks to Dr James Graham, who had retired from General Practice in the previous year, and who had been a Member of the Committee for 20 years, having served as Chairman between 2018 and 2021, and also to Dr Ed Gaynor, who had been a Member of the Committee for 16 years. Whilst Dr Gaynor was sad to be leaving, he would be retiring from General Practice in 2022.
Grateful thanks were also expressed to Drs Ayo Adebanjo and Martin Binder, both of whom had served on the Committee for 8 years.
It is possible for any Liverpool GP to observe at LMC meetings, and this can be organised by contacting Mrs Ann Walker at the LMC Office. The LMC is keen to ensure that it is representative of all Liverpool Practices. If you are a GP working in a Liverpool Practice, either as a Locum, Salaried, Partner, etc, you are eligible to stand for election to Liverpool LMC. Why not consider standing in the 2024 election? If you would like further information in relation to time commitment and what is required of a Member of the Committee, the Secretary, Dr Rob Barnett, would be happy to discuss this with you.
A full list of the membership of Liverpool LMC is available on the “Members” page.
